Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to improving South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) providers through an engagement with all the agency's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils from the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
